Lopez vs. Salido: Ultimate Rivalry!

The reigning and defending WBO Featherweight Champion Juan Manuel Lopez (30-0-27 KO’s) of Puerto Rico will make his third defense Saturday night April 16, 2011 against #9 ranked challenger Orlando Salido (34-11-2, 22 KO’s) of Mexico at the Coliseo Ruben Rodriguez, Bayamo, Puerto Rico.

Is Juan Manuel Lopez choosing an easy fight against Orlando Salido? Would this be the fight that the fans wanted to see on Juan Ma? This might be a preparatory fight for Juan Ma as there are speculations that he will be facing a tough and durable foe against Yuriorkis Gamboa within this year. Juan Manuel Marquez is now becoming a big star in boxing as he maintain his unblemished record and now facing the #9 contender is almost a sure win for him.

Though this can be considered as an interesting fight because Salido is coming off of a one-sided loss to WBA featherweight champion Yuriorkis Gamboa last September, yet is being given another title shot despite the loss. It is really a decision that the Lopez camp intended to do. This is to test if their fighter can surpassed on what Gamboa did to Salido. This will be gauge if their fighter is ready for a megafight against Yuriorkis Gamboa later this year.

Gamboa easily dismantled Salido now question is if Juan Manuel Lopez would be able o easily or struggle to beat Orlando Salido on their fight. It would not be certain though, but if Juan Ma will not be able to perform what was expected, then it will come up that he cannot beat Yuriorkis Gamboa. Juan Manuel Lopez has a power and he is known for his knocking power and he never been in the situation where he was struggling to win.

Does this fight interest the fans? They might watch this because they want to see how Juan Manuel Lopez performs. The will try to see if Juan Ma can really give Yuriorkis Gamboa a fight if the two will collide later this year.

Orlando Salido will have not a chance to beat Juan Ma in this fight and though he will try to make an upset but that would be a slim chance. Shane Mosley: Pacquiao is hittable!

Sugar Shane Mosley believes that Manny Pacquiao is hittable despite the latter speed because he his more quicker and stronger than Pacquiao. Mosley is very confident that he is the perfect fit opponent for Pacquiao and he assure his fans that Manny Pacquiao will experience hell in their 12 round championship fight on May 7, 2011 in MGM Grand, Las Vegas.

Pacquiao vs. Mosley would be a megafight and many fans from both parties are now very excited to witness as one of the greatest fight in the making in the history of boxing. Sugar Shane Mosley knows very well that his upcoming fight will be a big one and facing Manny Pacquiao the Pound-For-Pound King is just like facing a monster. Shane Mosley is taking a high gear on his training camp for his May 7, 2011 fight with Manny Pacquiao and he is very determined to knock off Pacquiao within 7 rounds. It will be very a tough goal for him to achieve!

Instead of doing a usual routine during sparring session, Shane Mosley has placed ‘Monsters’ in front of him in sparring. His dedication and perseverance has been the main reason why he is very confident to beat the man who was widely considered as the best fighter of all time Manny Pacquiao. Shane Mosley knows what at stake on his fight and he believes that he can knock off Pacquiao out once given an opportunity and he will shock the world.

‘Monsters’ as he called it to his sparring partners as he chooses to spar with bigger, faster and with vaunted power guys. This fight could be a defining moment of Shane Mosley as majority of the media and the fans all over the world, who loves boxing are considering that Manny Pacquiao would simply annihilates Mosley inside 6 rounds and this could be an easy fight for Pacquiao. Mosley would simply do what could be a big time upset in boxing as he is determine to eat Pacquiao alive inside the boxing ring. 140 rounds is the target! 140 rounds of sparring sessions for Manny Pacquiao on his preparation for a megafight against Shane Mosley on May 7, 2011 in Vegas. It sounds like it’s very hard to achieve and it would be harder for him to hit it with the time remaining before the fight night. But for Manny Pacquiao and Team Pacquiao believes that it’s very much achievable to hit 140 rounds of sparring sessions.

Now Manny Pacquiao will have his preparation continue in US with only 5 weeks remaining on his fight against Mosley. With no sign of tiring down, Manny Pacquiao will now set some hard training and do some long sparring sessions with some of quality sparring partners who also widely considered as future champions in boxing. Manny will have his hands to demolish Shane Mosley on May 7, 2011 at the MGM Grand in the Sin City Las Vegas.

Manny Pacquiao is showing no over confidence on his upcoming fight against Shane Mosley this coming May 7, 2011 in Las Vegas. He has been working tough and hard in training and become very private on his trainings that nobody should interfere or destruct his training for Pacquiao vs. Mosley collision.

Many believe that this fight is not a fight that everyone wanted to have for Pacquiao where Mosley is an old wash up fighter. But Manny Pacquiao thinks otherwise, he believe that Shane Mosley is always be a dangerous opponent and capable of beating anyone if given a chance. This could be an explosive boxing affair as both fighters’ promises to have an explosive fight and this could not last for 12 rounds.

During his arrival at the Los Angeles International Airport recently, the pound-for-pound king Manny Pacquiao avoided the huge crowds by sneaking out through a private exit leaving trainer Freddie Roach to meet the fans and answer some questions of the media.

This is to show his focus and seriousness of his fights against Shane Mosley, and this is not mean that he don’t want to meet and greet his fans but rather he wanted to be more private at this time of preparation and there should be no destruction coming in.
