Pacquiao vs. Marquez 3: Floyd Mayweather Jr. not keen on fighting Manny Pacquiao!

2012 Countdown to Pacquiao vs Mayweather

Floyd Mayweather Jr. fighting Manny Pacquiao is next to impossible! This is base on his statement during the post fight interview of Mayweather vs. Ortiz at MGM Grand, Las Vegas.

“With or without Pacquiao, every time Floyd Mayweather goes out there, he’s gonna make over $70 million, period,” said Mayweather in a post-fight press conference.

This is the statement after his fight against Victor Ortiz last Saturday. It seems that he continue to avoid fighting Manny Pacquiao and the possibility of suppose to be the most explosive and mega fight of our generation and probably the most expensive fight of all time.

Floyd Mayweather Jr. with an unblemished record of 42-0 is considered to be the great match up that Manny Pacquiao will be facing. If he is just want and willing to fight Manny Pacquiao it will answer all doubts as to who is the best boxing of our time. But Floyd Mayweather Jr. is making excuses and avoiding Manny Pacquiao to protect his unbeaten record.

On his previous fight against the ever dangerous young fighter ‘Vicious’ Victor Ortiz, he delivered his dirty work by showing his unsportsmanlike conduct as he deliver his killer shot to Victor Ortiz when the latter is not yet protecting himself and that ends everything. He was mauled with controversy after the fight, but he maintains that he fought fair and what he did is legal.

Now, fight fans believes that it is high time to have a Pacquiao-Mayweather collision as this is the most awaited match up that the fans all over the world are waiting for. The entire world awaits the camp and Floyd Mayweather Jr. itself to agree for this bout and gets it done. They are hopeful that this will eventually push through and the two most interesting and best boxer of our time will collide and will determine who is really the pound-for-pound king in boxing today.

Manny Pacquiao is simply wanted to fight Floyd Mayweather Jr. anywhere and anytime. Just to make it some of the biggest demands, Pacquiao is willing to be tested at the expense of Mayweather camp. But Floyd Jr. is getting more demands just to let this dream fight prolong or maybe it will not realize. Pacquiao-Mayweather is such a dream fight and everybody is upbeat and can’t wait to hear Floyd Mayweather Jr. to say yes for this fight.

If Floyd Mayweather Jr. believes that he is the best boxer of the world today and not Manny Pacquiao, then he should give fans all over the world what they been craving for. If Floyd Mayweather Jr. continues to evade on fighting Manny Pacquiao, then his career would certainly be question because he wasn’t able fight and beat the best boxer in the world and the only fighter who won 8 titles in 8 different divisions. If Floyd Jr. believes that Manny Pacquiao fought his leftovers, then there’s no reason for him not fighting Pacquiao and get this done.

As for Manny Pacquiao, obviously there is no need to fight Floyd Mayweather Jr. he has been proving every now and then that he will fight whoever wanted to fight him even in the more dangerous weight division. Pacquiao has been proven that discipline and determination will guide him to victory. His endurance and his unbelievable skill brought him where he is now today.

He expresses willingness to fight anyone and he is very willing to fight Floyd Mayweather Jr. if the latter is willing to fight him. With all the demands that the Mayweather camp made including the testing, he agreed on it. This dream match Pacquiao-Mayweather will realize only if, Floyd Mayweather Jr. will let himself stop talking and stop the impossible demands and let this fight gets it done.

On November 12, 2011 Pacquiao will be facing Juan Manuel Marquez for the third time and once Manny Pacquiao successful on that fight, he set his sight to collide with the best boxer in the world Floyd Mayweather Jr. as the latter claim. The Pacquiao-Marquez Trilogy will be another a hit and this will be mega money and a mega fight as both fighters promises a knockout.

Pacquiao vs. Mayweather is simply the most awaited fight of this time and if this will happen, this would simply put in the history book and the most expensive and richest fight of all time. But the question is, is Floyd Mayweather Jr. change his mind and set his mind to fight Manny Pacquiao to cast all doubts and give the fight fans the fight that they have been waiting for?

Pacquiao vs. Mayweather let’s get it on! But let us first witness the Pacquiao-Marquez 3 on November 12, 2011 at MGM Grand, Las Vegas.

Floyd Mayweather Sr. not apologizing to Manny Pacquiao anytime soon!

Earlier this week news broke that eight-division champion Manny Pacquiao has settled his defamation lawsuit against Richard Schaefer and Oscar Dela Hoya of Golden Boy Promotions on confidential terms. Dela Hoya and Schaefer had said remarks in the past that hinted at Pacquiao’s use of performance-enhancing drugs, an act that the Filipino superstar obviously didn’t take too kindly too and a tension that had underlined the Top Rank-Golden Boy feud at the time.

“You’ve got to stop the fight” – Shocking video of Shane Mosley in Pacquiao Fight

As first reported by my colleague Michael Marley earlier today, it appears that former five-time champion Shane Mosley was looking for a way to prematurely end his fight with Manny Pacquiao earlier this month at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Nevada.

A clear underdog heading into the fight, ‘Sugar’ Shane Mosley was knocked down by a wicked combination in the third round and went into a defensive shell soon thereafter. And, as seen in a recent preview video for this Saturday night’s Pacquiao-Mosley Fight Camp 360 episode, late in the fight, in between rounds, Shane Mosley could be seen pleading with his trainer Naazim Richardson to end the bout.

Shane Mosley: Pacquiao is hittable!

Sugar Shane Mosley believes that Manny Pacquiao is hittable despite the latter speed because he his more quicker and stronger than Pacquiao. Mosley is very confident that he is the perfect fit opponent for Pacquiao and he assure his fans that Manny Pacquiao will experience hell in their 12 round championship fight on May 7, 2011 in MGM Grand, Las Vegas.

Pacquiao vs. Mosley would be a megafight and many fans from both parties are now very excited to witness as one of the greatest fight in the making in the history of boxing. Shane Mosley is no joke and he will do everything to topple and shock Manny Pacquiao on May 7, 2011. He believes he is stronger and he is very confident that he can hit Pacquiao easily.

But Manny Pacquiao has a reaction on Mosley comments and he said:

“Let’s see if he can hit me. If he does, then he better make sure I won’t be able to stand up.” This is something to watch for as both fighters triggers some excitement and explosive fight to witness. Manny Pacquiao believes that Shane Mosley is simply one of the best fighters in the history of sports and it’s time to shut this man down in his career.

Manny Pacquiao even added: “Sure, I am hittable, but his problem would be can he really hurt me?” This is what he said in reference to statements attributed to Shane Mosley that Manny Pacquiao biggest asset could also be his biggest liability.

Both fighters have its own strategy coming into this fight and both game plans should be how they will knock each other out. Mosley maintains his stand as the fighter who will never knockdown by anybody and he doesn’t believe that Pacquiao would be able to hurt him.

Shane Mosley is definitely bigger and stronger, but Manny Pacquiao has been proven every now and then that boxing is not just like that your are bigger and stronger but it is more on how you play the game and how you can hit your opponent with precise and accurate speed and power.

We will witness another explosive and historic fights in boxing come May 7, 2011. Pacquiao vs. Mosley would certainly leave some memories in our hearts and mind.

Floyd Mayweather Jr. is an easy choice!

Floyd Mayweather Jr. will not fight Manny Pacquiao

It has been noted from Erik Morales father that: “ Manny Pacquiao Can Kill Floyd Mayweather Jr. very easily.”

This might be true and he believes that Floyd Mayweather Jr. was anticipating also that upon fighting Manny Pacquiao is very much different in fighting other fighters. Manny Pacquiao is indeed surely will give him a real fight that he will never forget on his entire boxing career.

Jose Morales father of comebacking boxing superstar and fought with Manny Pacquiao in a classic trilogy, believes that if the fight between Pacquiao vs. Mayweather will eventually realize, it would be a nonstop action and a brutal finish. A brutal finish in a sense that Manny Pacquiao will showcase how a better fighter he is compared to Floyd ‘Pretty Boy’ Mayweather Jr. He is certain; it will be a Manny Pacquiao show all throughout the fight.

Statement from www.boxinginsider.com

“I believe Manny Pacquiao will win the fight by the eighth round,” says Jose Morales, who taught his son Erik how to box at the age of five and was a former amateur boxer himself.

When asked why he believes Pacquiao will conquer Mayweather, Jose Morales explained, "He's more aggressive. He's very aggressive. He's very sharp, throws many accurate punches and keeps the pressure on his opponents. That's why he will win."

I then ask if Mayweather can handle what Pacquiao will assault him with?

"No, he can't," answered Jose Morales. "He shows it with Jose Luis Castillo. He can't handle that aggression. Mayweather is the kind of boxer where it is very dangerous for him - the aggressive boxing - because he can't handle it."

Next, I ask if he thinks Mayweather is scared to sifn the contract to box Manny Pacquiao for an estimated $40,000,000?

"The punch of Manny Pacquiao can kill him very easily," replies Morales, with no hesitation or doubt in his voice. "It can put him down very easily. So he cannot handle that."

Definitely, Floyd Mayweather Jr. is very much afraid in fighting the Pound for Pound King and he tried to elude fighting Manny just to save face. He knows already that he will be beaten by Manny Pacquiao once he will agree fighting it.

Also, many boxing experts believed with what Jose Morales is saying. But it is always a possibility that these fighters will fight each other very very soon. it would challenge Floyd to come out from his shelf and sign a contract that would lead to a blockbuster fight of all time.
