Mayweather vs. Ortiz: Victor Ortiz will shock the World!

It’s a 7-1 underdog in favor of the former pound-for-pound king and the undefeated Floyd Mayweather Jr. against Victor ‘Vicious’ Ortiz. It is surprising isn’t it? This might be because Floyd Mayweather Jr. was more popular and he is no.1 in America? But who is the champion here? Its Victor Ortiz right? It would be unfair to say that this fight has been already considered as lopsided in favor of Floyd Mayweather Jr.

Victor Ortiz is a fighter known for his speed and power and his style brings danger to Floyd Mayweather Jr. This fight is not a walk in the park for Floyd Jr. but rather this fight could be one of the brutal fights in his career. Whether he will win by knockout or he will loss in knockout and suffer his first loss of his career. If that would happen, would everyone believe that he is not the right fighter to collide with the current pound-for-pound king Manny ‘Pacman’ Pacquiao?

Victor Ortiz is not a fighter who will backtracks and afraid to change face. Ortiz is a fighter who loves to rumble and exchanging punches whoever he will be fighting. Victor Ortiz all fights are more explosive and brutal as majority of his wins are coming by knockouts. But the losses of his own were also in knockouts and this might be give Floyd Mayweather Jr. a confidence that he can easily neutralize the power and speed of this young champion by out boxing and with his high IQ in fighting, it would be easy for him to dock Victor Ortiz easily. But can Floyd Jr. really create a situation to frustrate Ortiz? Can Mayweather be able to show to the world that he is still the pound-for-pound king in boxing?

September 17, 2011, the day when Victor ‘Vicious’ Ortiz will climb to the ring bringing his confidence and intend to shock the world against Floyd Mayweather Jr. Victor Ortiz believes that to be the best he should beat the best in his division and he believes that Floyd Jr. is one of the best. When he fought Andre Berto he was an underdog and being an underdog there is no pressure at all. He fought Berto toe-to-toe and he suffered some knockdowns but he gets up and put Berto into the canvass few times that give him a unanimous decision. After the fight he was back on top and now he wants to prove again that once Floyd Mayweather Jr. face him and will fight as a man, it will surely an end of Floyd greatness and his advice is ‘Don’t be stupid but be careful’.

Victor Ortiz, a young breed of a fighter and the current WBC Welterweight World Champion is on a mission. That mission will be against Floyd Mayweather Jr., a mission that will stop suffocating development the Pacquiao vs. Mayweather future mega fight. Victor Ortiz on his part it will not happen because he will retire Mayweather Jr. for good and he will face Manny Pacquiao and get the chance to beat the pound-for-pound king in boxing.

As of this writing, Ortiz already in good shape and if the fight will stage today he is very much ready. He is now look superbly conditioned and when the fight night is on he is ready to slug it out and shock the world. Victor Ortiz is a southpaw and it will give Floyd Mayweather Jr. a hard time to attack because Floyd Jr. has not been performing well when fought a southpaw.

Experts believe that Victor Ortiz is very much capable of pulling an upset and Floyd Jr. should be more focus and he should not be destructed by any other issues especially against Manny Pacquiao. He should focus on his upcoming fight against Victor Ortiz on September 17, 2011 on MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

Victor ‘Vicious’ Ortiz is a young and ferocious fighter and he is all set for the upset of the century. He is all focus on his fight against Floyd Mayweather Jr. It will totally shock the world if this will happen but definitely, it will not an easy task he should work hard on this.

Mayweather vs. Ortiz : Floyd Mayweather Jr. Is the Better Fighter!

If not for his semi-retirement and his inactivity in boxing, Floyd Mayweather Jr. might be still the pound-for-pound king in boxing today and not the current pound-for-pound king Manny ‘Pacman’ Pacquiao. Floyd Mayweather Jr., undoubtedly the most skilled fighter in our generation and the most dominating and high IQ fighter that is unmatched by other great fighters in the record book.

Floyd Mayweather Jr. has been criticized all these years as he was accused of avoiding Manny Pacquiao in supposed to be a mega blockbuster collision of the two great fighters of our time. He has been asking for demands after demands and he’s been playing around and this could be his game plan to invite more excitement and to captivate the boxing fans once this dream match will take center stage.

Probably the most gifted boxer of his generation, Floyd Mayweather Jr. is now on his sight in fighting the best available fighters today and that is including the world’s no.1 and the people’s champion Manny Pacquiao. Many believe that Floyd Jr. has all what it takes to beat anybody with his skills, power and intelligence he can easily outbox and outsmart his opponent. Floyd Jr. has all of his advantage and it is always his pride to stand up from anybody else as he is the fighter with no defeat and he is always said that nobody can beat him once he is in the ring. But can we consider Floyd Mayweather Jr. as the fighter who fought real opponents, an opponent that on his prime and not wash up?

On September 17, 2011, Floyd Mayweather Jr. will be fighting once again against a very dangerous and explosive fighter Victor ‘Vicious’ Ortiz. It has been known that this could be Floyd Jr. defining moment and a real test if he is really ready for a big fight against Manny Pacquiao. But could he handle the pressure and always an attack mode style of Victor Ortiz? This will be answered come fight night but experts believe that if Mayweather Jr. will take this seriously and focus on the fight, he will eventually dispose the explosive Victor Ortiz. This fight is a picture perfect of explosiveness vs. defensive style of boxing. But Vicious Ortiz is a no joke and he has been proving time and time again that he can come back strong from humiliation and fought back and won the fight.

If Floyd Mayweather Jr. successful against Victor Ortiz, It will probably set the stage for a megafight against Manny Pacquiao early next year and that would be an electrifying and a full force development because the fight fans are craving for that fight. Floyd Jr. would probably smiling and playing his game as he awaits for his biggest payday of his boxing career but Manny Pacquiao is waiting for him and the latter is a monster in the ring. But first he has to hurdle Victor Ortiz first and believe me, fighting Victor ‘Vicious’ Ortiz is not an easy task. But if he will be successful, it might be the deciding factor that he can truly defeat Pacquiao and rule boxing once again.

As what the experts and boxing fans who followed the boxing career of Floyd Jr., there’s no fighter who give him the real test this might be because he chooses his opponent or maybe because of his superb stamina and never get tired. His superiority in the ring and his brand of style in boxing makes him hard to hit that is why he was called ‘Pretty Boy’. Can he maintain forever? Boxing fans believes choosing Victor Ortiz for September 17, 2011 megafight is a slight gamble because of the style of Ortiz, but as I said he is been playing and fighting Victor Ortiz is one way of testing himself if he is really ready for a big fight against Manny Pacquiao. That’s what an intelligent fighter does and once he will dispose Ortiz, it is high time to call Pacquiao for the most anticipated fight of this generation.

Floyd Mayweather Jr., the undefeated and former champion in boxing! Let us wait and see on September 17, 2011 against Victor Ortiz….

Victor Ortiz On Venomous Intentions Against Floyd Mayweather Jr.!

Victor Ortiz is an angry and dangerous man – much angrier than he’s been in a long time.

It was a learning experience for Victor Ortiz for his six-round knockout loss to Marcos Maidana of more than two years ago. He believes that he was more cautious and aware of the risk of being the aggressive fighter and for that fight it was totally makes him the fighter to watch for.

The man nicknamed ‘Vicious’ because of his aggressiveness and vaunted power was widely considered as the next big thing in boxing and it will totally dominate his division before losing to Marco Maidana. But he made a remarkable by annihilating the previously unbeaten and hot prospects of facing Manny Pacquiao, Andre Berto (27-1, 21 knockouts), in one of the most classic and dramatic fights in the history of boxing. He give Andre Berto 3 knockdowns and eventually won a unanimous decision and if not for Floyd Mayweather Jr. fight, he may prefer to have a rematch with Berto as the latter’s believe that he can beat Victor Ortiz in brutal fashion.

Victor Ortiz said on RingTV.com during an exclusive interview on Friday.

“ Since what I went through with Maidana in 2009, I’m always having to explain those things that happened in that fight,” said Victor Oritz, who left the Maidana clash with a bloody face and a broken wrist that required surgery to repair.”

“They had billed me as the next Oscar Dela Hoya, and then I made one mistake in six rounds, and I got sliced open by the media. The way that they did me, and that way that they destroyed me, that was just crazy.”

Victor Ortiz (29-2-2, 22 knockouts) is now on hi dangerous and fatal intentions on unbeaten former pound-for-pound king Floyd Mayweather Jr., (41-0, 25 KO’s) in an HBO Pay Per View televised to defend his WBC Welterweight Belt. Many believes, that the winner of this fight will be in line to a blockbuster encounter against the 8th time division champion Manny ‘Pacman’ Pacquiao.

Mayweather vs. Ortiz is scheduled for the MGM Grand in Las Vegas on September 17, 2011 and definitely this could be a bang.

As Victor Ortiz: “I’ve been in training camp for the past two months already because I realize that fighting Floyd Mayweather is a big fight.” This could be Victor Ortiz second fight in Welterweight division as his first fight was against Andre Berto and immediately he made some noise by disposing Berto by unanimous decision.

As he continues: “But Floyd Mayweather Jr., don’t scare me at all. Not for a second. So as far as that goes, nothing’s changed…and Mayweather Jr. going down.”

Though his toughness was still in question and the way he open his guard while doing an attack mode to his opponents, still many believes that Victor Ortiz will give Floyd Mayweather Jr. a hard time and it could be possibly a big upset of the year and to derail the supposed dream match in boxing history the Pacquiao-Mayweather encounter.

Victor Ortiz knows that this could be his defining moment, and if there is a fighter who can truly match Manny Pacquiao power-by-power and stamina-by-stamina, it could be him and he assure to the fans that Floyd Mayweather Jr. is up to a big trouble come fight night.

Let’s get it on!

Juan Manuel Marquez Has A Mission!

Juan Manuel Marquez is very much confident that he can dethrone Manny Pacquiao on their 3rd fight in a convincing fashion and he is aiming for a stoppage. He is now on preparation for the much anticipated fight against Manny Pacquiao and for his part there is no pressure at all to face the man who beat him but in controversial manner. He believes that Pacquiao never fought a good fight and he believes that he won on their last 2 fights. But this time around Juan Manuel Marquez will make a statement and end Manny Pacquiao domination in the boxing ring.

Even the Pacquiao-Marquez Trilogy will be in higher weight @ 145, Juan Manuel Marquez has no worry at all as he will chase Pacquiao even the latter will go up in different weights just to prove that he is willing to settle all the controversies. If there’s one fighter who give Pacquiao a decent and real fight that’s Juan Manuel Marquez and many believes that he was robbed from their 2 previous fights. But that issues is not enough and the only thing to stop all of this issues is to have a 3rd and final fight with Manny Pacquiao and both fighters promised that this could be a brutal fight and it will end up all bad elements from their previous fights. A 3rd fight will be an explosive and brutal encounter and Marquez needs no time but to brawl once the bell rings.

Juan Manuel Marquez now on course on his preparation for a megabout against Manny Pacquiao on November 12, 2011 in Las Vegas, Nevada. With his early preparation, many believe that Marquez is on track to defeat the much overconfident Manny Pacquiao. Marquez is the more determined fighter but it can’t be denied that he is up for a big challenge against a fighter who is considered as the best fighter of our time and if not the fighter in the history of boxing. But Juan Manuel Marquez doesn’t bothered at all and he is ready and confident that he is the only fighter who can dislodge and beat Manny Pacquiao fair and square.

It is indeed a fight that every one of us are to witness and this could be a defining moment for both fighters and it will answer all questions after the fight. Pacquiao vs. Marquez III would be a classic and the most anticipated fight of 2011.

Pacquiao-Marquez is on November 12, 2011!
