World’s no. 1 pound-for-pound box office king, Pound-for-Pound King and the Fighter of the Decade, Manny ‘Pacman’ Pacquiao (53-3-2, 38 KO’s), from the Sarangani province in the Philippines, will be back in action to the Fight Capital of the World for 2 years when he is bound to defend his World Boxing Organization (WBO) welterweight title against the Future Hall of Famer and three-time World Champion “Sugar” Shane Mosley (46-6-1, 39 KO’s), of Pomona, California. Manny Pacquiao vs. Sugar Shane Mosley will be taking its flight on May 7, 2011 at MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Tickets for Pacquiao vs. Mosley 2011 fights promoted by Top Rank of Bob Arum, in association with MP Promotions are now on sale. Tickets priced at $1,000, $750, $500, $300, and $150, will be on sale this Monday January 31, 2011 at 10 a.m. PT.
This could be another sold out crowd and another history in the making. Manny Pacquiao would be richer and it will also be a benefit for ‘Sugar’ Shane Mosley as he will be fighting the most sought warrior in the world. Mosley will be adding millions on his own pocket win or loss.
Many believes even this is not the fight that the fans wanted for Pacquiao, it is still the fight that everybody should watch for. ‘Sugar’ Shane Mosley take this as a huge challenge not just to his pride but also to all criticisms he was receiving that he is not the worthy fighter to fight Manny Pacquiao.
